We can all sense that there is a shifting away from stability. 

With 30+ years each of experience in helping organizations, teams, and individuals create opportunities out of uncertainty, Victoria Ward and Dr Wendy Schultz, co-founders of Jigsaw Foresight, invite you to participate in a pilot programme of THRIVE – Tools for Heightening Resilience in Volatile Environments.

We are offering this pilot online learning module free for a limited time and number of participants. We are looking for curious humans who want to equip themselves with the mindset, tools, and approaches to not just survive change, but to navigate it with confidence and creativity. In exchange for your participation and feedback, you will get a head start on your own resilience for 2025. You’ll also be the first to hear of how we develop THRIVE, and will get an exclusive Good Egg Price should we decide to grow this into a fully fledged online course.

Introducing THRIVE

This online course is designed for the one billion knowledge workers worldwide who are navigating rapid change. It draws from decades of experience in foresight, narrative, and transformation.

The THRIVE methods have been tested over many years, and most recently over 9,000 people have experienced a beta version of this programme. Based on the success we have seen within organizations, we want to make it accessible to everyone. That’s where the THRIVE pilot comes in.

As we expand THRIVE from a corporate offering available only to large organizations and teams, to include individuals and small teams, we’re looking for a limited number of special test pilots. They’ll get early access to the programme’s module 1 (including all video teaching and participatory exercises) in exchange for honest feedback (via a survey) that will help us improve and expand the offer.

FAQs

Is this a technical training about AI or something?

No. There are some great technical trainings about how to integrate “emerging” technologies like AI into your workflow – we point you to the folks at Coursera or Section for that. This is about something deeper: the mindsets and skillsets to be resilient in an increasingly uncertain world, and to equip others to do the same.

These methods can be used on a scale from the personal to the planetary. You don’t have to be a leader to take this course, and taking it will position you to step into formal and informal leadership roles with confidence and an ability to foster deeper connection with those you are leading

You will learn two methods: Future Story and Backcasting

  • Training for how to run this exercise at different scales
  • Real world examples from Victoria and Wendy


You will take away a compelling vision of a future that you want to inhabit, and a plan for how you got there. You will also get a Good Eggs’ price on any fully fledged THRIVE online course offering.

We are using an online platform called Thinkific to host a combination of video and other content that you can access anytime you want to work on the pilot programme.

We estimate around 90 minutes, plus up to 30 minutes for you to complete the feedback form. So plan around 90-120 minutes, which you can do in stages.

You will get a self asessment tool once you have completed the exercises to see how you have done.

Meet Victoria and Wendy

Organisational Change and Knowledge Management Expert, Leadership and Team Coach

Victoria works as coach, strategic adviser, convenor for, and companion to, those who seek to create lasting change, in themselves, in their teams and networks, in the organization as a whole, or in the system in which the organization plays a part. Her clients over a 27 year period have included multinational corporations – cultural institutions, development banks and agencies, academic institutions and projects and professional associations: World Health 

Organization, the International Labour Organization, the Asian Development Bank, the Caribbean Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Foundation for International Law for the Environment, The Law Society UK and Wales, Deep Transitions Lab.

Futures and Foresight Expert

Dr. Wendy Schultz has over 40 years of experience in global futures research and participatory foresight. She specializes in participatory futures methods and systems-informed foresight, designing workshops for organizations like the World Organization of Animal Health, the International Labor Organization, and the UN Office of the Secretary-General. Her sessions have trained policymakers, international agency teams, and military leaders across cities such as Geneva, Kuala Lumpur, and New York.

Her award-winning work has been published in Futures, Foresight, the Journal of Futures Studies, and The Handbook of Futures Studies. Wendy has lectured at the University of Houston, Nanyang Technological University, and the University of Turku.

She co-founded Jigsaw Foresight, directs Infinite Futures, and is a Fellow of several prestigious organizations, including the Geneva Centre for Security Policy and the World Futures Studies Federation.
